Hi. Does anyone have information on German civilian police uniform colours for Berlin 1918? I am looking to make a few wargame models in 28mm. There are some black and white photos on the net, but I cannot find colour details. Thanks in advance for your help. |

Darkish blue tunic with very dark blue (almost black) or black trousers. They could also be in a greenish gray uniform like a soldier. Leather gear could be brown or black. |

SMLE No4, what color uniform did you go with? I want to build exactly the same 1918 police force. I would like to use it to fight both with and against the Freikorps, depending on the scenario. As I understand it, the militarized police, formed during the Weimar Republic in 1920, wore a gray green uniform similar to that of the wartime Jagers, but I think it's unlikely that they fought against the Freikorps, so I am going to go with the blue tunics and black trousers. |
