Oh, my I am struggling here. Does anyone have the metric dimensions for an assembled gun? Perry or Victrix or whomever. How big of a footprint it takes to base one? W x L Thanks =) |

I haven't got the Perry kit, but I have been informed that it comes with 100 mm x 50 mm bases (for the guns and crews) and 50 mm x 50 mm bases for the limbers. If you will check this review: link you can find there pictures of the individual sprues against 1 cm square grid, which should give an idea about the dimensions of the individual bits. Further down you can also find this picture of the assembled gun and two crew members on 100 mm x 50 mm base:

Unfortunately I previously missed this picture from the above source, which shows the assembled guns against a square grid. Going by it, you could just about fit the gun carriage (without crew) on a 30 mm x 60 mm base, but it would be a very tight fit, and the longer barrels would extend outside the base.

Looks like I may be able to fit one on a 50mm round….overhang is fine as it's a sabot. Thanks for the feedback gents! |

50 mm round base sounds like a quite tight fit, but it might just work. And if it does not, 60 mm round base should work. Personally, I would probably prefer slightly oval base over a fully round one for a gun like this, assuming that the crew does not go on the same base. |
