Hi so unfortunately its almost two years since version 3 of ESR came out and still the stats for the prussian army have not been created, nor their commanders – i am wondering has anyone here been using ESR and anyone created some prussian stats in the interim? |

ah i see they have put teh draft version up again – sadly its missing landwehr and reserve infantry, and also only relates to the period 1808-1812, – 1813 is the period i am after also still missing any commander info – how many more months or years until these stats get properly created and also how long until ESR looks to the late war period? |

i am guessing i need to just use some existing stats for units adn commanders instead while waiting for something to be published, so what other units would be closest to the Landwehr, and various commanders |

i think so, but i had kind of been waiting for the prussian commanders and stats to come out and also was still figuring out my armies before i could try this version 3 that is out – perhaps i should just go an make up some stats for the prussians that arent yet fully detailed. you can find a recent review of it on goonhammer here link ESR really reminds me of the pc Scourge of War: Waterloo series, the old Breakaway Games Waterloo and Austerlitz titles and also Histwar Les Grognards, and the old Micrprose "Fields of Glory" game – as they all can have some perspective-based feel to them, that limits how immediately you can control the chaos. Certainly not a Napoleon Total War style rules |
