Definitely all the time. It's great for discretely reading texts.

I have a nice watch around here somewhere. Never use it.

I always wear a watch but rarely carry a phone, because I refuse to communicate via texts (though I do use email). By the way, I still use a flip phone, so that I can always use the excuse, that I can't text easily.

Every day. I own two dozen and match the watch to the outfit.

Quit wearing one 20 years past when a mobile was forced on me. I guess the mobile is the pocket watch of the 21st century?

I have a geeky 80's calculator watch that I always wear, and I sometimes use the calculator functions. I've worn out 3 of those watches; this is the fourth one.

I'm a watch guy and am bummed out that I can't find a new Timex locally. My old one died and I need my indi-glow!

Watches don't run out of battery power as fast as mobile devices, so I wear one when I expect to need to know the time and expect to be unable to recharge my phone easily.

Air travel is the most common situation for that, followed by outdoor activities like hiking and cross-country skiing.

I only own a few watches, but I do have nylon watchbands for most occasions: high-visibility orange, desert camouflage, jungle/woodland camouflage, formal black, formal blue, a few others.

Ancient habit to wear a watch.
I can just glance at my wrist instead of rummaging in my pocket.
I have a thing about my phone already trying to be everything.

I also have a thing about NOT wanting an expensive watch. Mine can get ill treated at times.

Started wearing a sports watch about 3 years ago. After 30 years of not wearing a watch, now I wear it 24/7.

You don't have a phone. You have a computer with a cell capability bolted on.

Exactly. Traveller predicted the "hand computer" back in 1977, and I admit that's the first thing I thought of when I got my first smart phone.
