Does anyone make the lead characters from Last of the Mohicans in 15mm? Styled after the film version would be ideal, but decent proxies would be useful.

The Conquest set are brilliant! I have a set somewhere

I'm gaming in 15mm so I'm looking for suitable figures in that scale. I suppose I can always generic F&IW figure that seem appropriate.

Blue Moon might be your best shot

If it were my project, I would start with Blue Moon. Sorry that I can't be of more help.

Blue Moon, Essex, Minifigs and Irregular all have suitable figures.

Unfortunately, I was unable to find any 15mm miniatures specifically based on the movie, which is understandable. In the end I decided to convert and model characters based on the 1992 movie myself.

Except for Cora and Alice Munroe, which are from Irregular Miniatures, the male characters are conversions using 15mm Essex Miniatures. These were created some years before the Blue Moon range. If I was to do it again, I would probably see what miniatures they offered that might be suitable.

Sorry about the poor photos.

Uncas, Hawkeye and Chingachgook. Hawkweye and Uncas use SYF28 Seven Years War French in Canada: Musketeer Courer de Bois. They basically had appropriate head swaps and I shaved down the sleeves on Hawkeye's and Uncas's shirts. I also extended Hawkeyes rifle a little. I think Chingachgook may use the same body as well with some twisting here and there. It's some years ago now.

Major Duncan Heyward uses a British Artillery Officer body with a head swap and I added a sword. The sisters are by Irregular miniatures as previously mentioned. I have considered replacing these two miniatures over the years.

Magua uses SYF32 Seven Years War French in Canada: Woods Indians with Musket. His arm looks a bit wonky in the photo, but it has been bent into a better position. Even though he doesn't appear in the movie, I decided to add a miniature to represent David Gamut. The psalmist uses a miniature from the AWI range = INA8 : AWI American: Militia. I removed the rifle and added a small book. I also have a small bear that I plan to paint up one of these days. I vaguely recall one i the story.

Great job, Barry!

If looking at Blue Moon, don't forget their Pirates range which might offer some suitable female figures.

Excellent conversions in 15mm. Too bad David Gamut and the bear and lots of other things were left out of the 1992 movie .
