I just saw Peter Pig mentioning on Facebook that Royal Mail added more countries to the list they now do delivery duty paid shipping to. Great news as this makes things a lot easier for us continentals to order stuff from the UK again. Has anybody heard of other UK wargames companies that now offer DDP shipping to the EU? |

We've got full IOSS on our site now so we can ship to the EU with all of the EU VAT/taxes paid for you: pendraken.co.uk |

No idea what "IOSS" means, but recently 6mm Baccus figures came here (unpunished !) in The Netherlands. Some time ago a North Star order (Wiglaf Miniatures) was less in price so Dutch taxes were fairly compensated. I will gladly add Pendraken to my list ! |

@ Porthos: IOSS is the EU's VAT system for non-EU sellers. We can now charge the correct VAT for your country in our Checkout and this removes any additional fees/charges when the package arrives. It's quite expensive for the business but we'd had so many problems trying to send things into the EU that we had to make the change. Germany in particular were sending nearly 50% of our packages back to us, with no attempt to contact the customers at all. |

YMMV. :-) Germany has been one of the least problematic EU destinations for me (I still don't use the IOSS system and just send duty unpaid). Also, items get sent RM Tracked rather than RM Tracked & Signed, because the former uses Germany's postal service; the latter uses Royal Mail's partner GLS, who are terrible at delivery. With the expansion of Royal Mail's duty-paid service I have been considering it, but it really needs to reach the whole of the EU to be easy to apply in the shop. |

Thank you, Leon ! I have (among many other things ;-)) a Pendraken Prussian Army for 1870/71 which will be growing perhaps next year. All the best for 2024 and did you notice this announcement ? YouTube link Regards, Luc. |
