Sino-Indian War of 1962. Fought in mountainous terrain in north-east by ground troops alone. link Does anyone game it and if so what figures and vehicles, guns etc do you use? |

I remember my dad telling me about the war when I was a kid. With the altitude and terrain, I have to imagine it would be a very infantry-heavy conflict. From what I recall, the Indians had a very rough time of it. |

Looks like the Indian troops were still using WWII rifles, while the Chinese had AK-47s. I think you could do this with 1/72nd plastics and head swaps. |

I've heard of it but terrain would be a pain for a minis game unless 3 or 6mm, and even then it could be an issue to set up. |

@ Exeter – doubt it, if the wiki article is correct there was no air war. Plenty of air action in the Indo-Pak wars though. Starfighter versus Gnat was a Dogfight Double Airfix shoulda issued… |

I doubt it would be a good period to play, as it was a bit one sided once the Chines got into gear… |
