Dramatic looking battle scenes. Perhaps this is, in part, because some of the cavalry figures are often not mounted squarely facing straight ahead on their bases. Thinking about this, the light cavalry especially, would not be moving at uniform distances from each other.

For some reason, my translation program gives the Byzantines something called "feminine cavalry." While they could be some of Annie Norman's figures, the context makes it sound like they are medium cavalry of low to mediocre morale.
