Up from £1,000.00 GBP bonus last year.

Games Workshop, which runs about 530 stores, said it was increasing the bonus as it expected half-year profits to be at least £94.00 GBPm as sales rose 9% to £247.00 GBPm.

There's always a cloud for any silver lining:

Shares in the group fell almost 11% to just under £95.00 GBP as Andrew Wade, an analyst at Jefferies, said investors were likely to be disappointed that the business had only delivered sales and profits in line with expectations.

That makes sense – investors lose confidence when a firm does as well as it said it would… wink

Is their expectation still from the covid time?

I am very glad to hear about the bonus payments. I don't want discontented employees founding yet another system of proprietary troop types, "factions" and rules in multiple volumes with expiration dates.

Haterz going to hate….

evil grin

Personally – I think that a staff bonus scheme, especially around Christmas, is a nice thing to do. Not every employer does. And £2,500.00 GBP will buy a decent amount of miniatures….insert GW overpriced joke here …….

£2,500.00 GBP worth of Forge World models – which 2 would they like? :)

Seriously though, that's good news and I'm pleased for them

Good for them, all employers that can provide bonuses should do the same.

staff bonus scheme

Bonuses are great for compensation vs wage increases since it is much easier to not pay a bonus vs reducing salary.

If the stock would get to $100 USD I'd buy some; it pays a reasonable dividend mostly.

Well done GW. I don't care what people say…..I like ya!
