As a side project from my 'normal' Wars of The There Kingdoms army building, I always have an eye out for figures and terrain suitable for Witchfinder General.

One suitable item has finally made its way to Château KeepYourPowderDry – a wicker man. Somewhat coincidentally, the seminal 70's horror film 'The Wicker Man' was released almost exactly 50 years ago.

(There is no Britt Ekland dancing in the bufty content in case you are wondering – and anyway she utilised a body double for the scene). link

Is it suitable for 28mm?

The woman inside is true 15mm, cast as part of the piece. You could cut her out, or decide that she is a child I suppose (might need a bit of modification.

Whole thing is 90mm tall.

I'm currently trying to build a Wicker Man out of burlap! It will definitely be a neat piece for ECW era games.
