In past years when I attended the big east coast conventions I bought nice laser cut mdf bases in what looked like a Chinese food take out box. White with folding top and wire handle. I think they sold by the pound, or all you could fit in a box. These are excellent bases. I have lost the name of the company.

Anyone know what I am talking about? I need more. Thanks

Yeah, sold in pint and quart boxes, and in about five minutes someone will come by with the company name. Pretty sure it's Brigade Games.

I believe you are Looking for The Phalanx Consortium, who are now located in Denver, CO. USA. They used to be located in Williamsburg, VA. USA. However, this year they relocated to Denver, CO. USA to be closer to their manufacturer.

The above Link should get you there!

One vendor had the Chinese takeout box – they were within the Flames of War vendor space. I think it was Battlefront.

Phalanx Consortium had them limited to a closed zip-lock bag.

Thanks all. Not sure if The Phalanx Consortium was the vender back then but they have what I need!

Laser-cut MDF bases, of varied sizes, are offered on multiple sites: e-Bay, Amazon, and Etsy. There are various vendors offering diverse MDF bases. Most Etsy sellers will take custom orders: they use 40-80 Watt CO2 laser cutters, so custom sizes are easy to make.

I ordered custom sized, equilateral, MDF triangles from an Etsy seller: easy-peasy, great price, fast shipping. It pays to shop around. Cheers!

The Phalanx Consortium moved to Tennessee, NOT Denver. Chris Bennett fills base orders quickly. (Lord knows I have ordered a lot of MDF bases from him recently.) Here is a link to his operation: thephalanxconsortium.com

He will soon be supplying custom MDF bases to Dark Horse Hobbies in Kansas. darkhorsehobbies.com

Highly recommended!
