Thinking I may have painted myself into a corner. I know the Germans used national flags as an aerial recognition signal on vehicles--but presumably this practice declined along with the Luftwaffe. Has anyone ever seen a photo of such as late as the introduction of dunkelgelb, or do I need to repaint a vehicle? (It's microscale, so not a heartbreaker--but still something would have to be reassigned as a replacement, and there could be troubles with basing. Anyway, I'm curious.) Thanks. |

I don't believe I have ever seen a recognition flag on a late war German vehicle. That said, if I did have one on an early war model, it would be kept in the area where "adult figures" were stored. No reason to bother the easily offended class. |

Thank you. Negative reports are helpful. As for the rest, all my figures are of adults, but none of them are "adult figures" in the rather strange modern sense. And while I frankly dislike having a swastika on a miniature, if I thought it would cause the "easily offended class" not to play with me, I'd go out and buy more. There is every reason to bother such people. In the words of His Excellency the Right Honorable Henry Gladstone Kiku, "sometimes it is necessary to step on a man's foot until HE apologizes." Bonus points for anyone who can show me a WWII German aerial recognition flag which does not contain a swastika. |

Your choice of one supportive comment I don't agree with, 79th, or silence on two occasions when I'm sure you're wrong. Let me know when you want to collect. And thanks. |
