Looking at my surfers, they have these obvious badly placed rings. I'll need to fill them. Suggestions on what to fill with?

Durham's water putty, plaster, acrylic caulking (probably your best bet… ;-)

Any epoxy putty should work: JB Weld, Green Stuff, etc. Hot Glue will work, as well. Press kitchen parchment paper against the figure to smooth it -- virtually nothing will stick to it. Hot Glue may be challenging, but it will adhere to the plastic quite well. Cheers!
