Hello everyone,

As I only own and like 25mm MiniFigs, I note that for my dear distant ancestors the Sub-Roman British, there are only at Minifigs, the references illustrated in the WRG books:

Ian Heath, Armies of the Dark Ages 600 -1066, Wargames Research Group, 1976

and

Ian Heath, Armies of the Dark Ages 600-1066, Second Edition, Wargames Research Group, 1980.

Very good, but as indicated in their titles these works only study the Armies of the Dark Ages from the year 600 AD.

Except between the "departure" of the Romans and the year 600 AD the Sub-Roman British also existed and fought wars.

Unfortunately for an unknown reason, for the 5th and 6th centuries, the Sub-Roman British unlike the Saxons, which are found for all periods of their history, are not illustrated in the works of the Wargames Research Group before the year 600 AD.

What 25mm MiniFigs can I use for 5th century Sub-Roman British?

And for the Sub-Roman British of the 6th century.

And the Sub-Roman British designed by Ian Heath and sold by MiniFigs, their "armors" seem very ancient to me for the 7th century and after?

Use 5th century Romans ? Plus Goths or Saxons, either mixed in or as separate units.
