Just wondering if any of the Vallejo Diorama FX 'paint'colours is identical (or near as damn it) to Games Workshop's Stirland Battle Mud? Hard to tell from the colour swatches on the Vallejo website.

Yes, I know that Stirland is expensive stuff – I tried making my own but could never get consistent colours, so I have been using Stirland for ages. Consistency of colour and texture is important, I'm not going to make my own, ever. So whilst I understand that you might be trying to be helpful telling me how to make it, I'm sorry but it isn't happening. It would be great if a much cheaper identical product was available from Vallejo though…

Thanks in advance

Maybe Russian Mud? If I remember correctly Stirland pretty dark.

Thanks. Could be. Possibly a bit darker than Stirland
