Does anyone make 40mm US soldiers for WW2?

Thanks

Dumb question from me. Everyone does 35mm (annoyingly). Lots do 1/48 scale ( and I do agree how annoying true scale vs 1/any number over 1 can be)

But why 40mm? Can you get vehicles? What are 40mm in "scale"? I did say it was dumb question, but on TMP right now any response is a miracle. Please do ridicule me, if only to get folk out of their seeming apathy

It looks like 40mm figures would be between 1:48 and 1:35, about 1:45. You'd probably have to find a 3d printer or do it yourself and scale up. Personally I would go for 1:48 as it's a standard model scale.

These days it seems any and every scale works – so why not 40mm

It works, it's just going to be a lot of custom work. I have a bunch of 40mm dark age and medieval but I'll be making all my buildings and carts. Some terrain will work but trees will need upscaling and walls.

I have the Graven Image 40mm Germans and British and I was looking for American.

Never heard of those, I'll have to check them out. Larger than 28mm but not as fiddly as 1/35 would be nice to paint sometimes.

Irregular Miniatures has a 42mm figures range.

Those Irregular figures could work. Thanks.

Going to check out Graven Image, Thanks. I also want 40mm WW2 but only in metal. I do not care for plastic. 1/35 very fiddly.

I have a ton (not quite literally) of 40mm Front Rank AWI and Triguard AWI and FIW. Love 'em.
