Supposedly Maurice von Falkenburg was able to get close enough to Gustavus to deliver a killing blow because he wore a close helm and Swedish field sign. Unsure about how accurate the account that describes this is however. Also, I haven't yet heard of accounts describing Croat-types involved in the melee but ofc it could be that I havent' read enough about it.
