Well … the border is open … there many here with expired paperwork, etc. The islamic terrorists/jihadis like to attack on Christian Holidays. So I'm going with all the usual suspects. After all, since the USA supported Israel since '48. That has made us a target … |
Stryderg | 22 Nov 2023 12:15 p.m. PST |
Wait, on the Canadian border? That can't be right, I thought Canada has become a Socialist Utopia. </sarcasm> Prayers for the victims. If everyone went around killing everyone that offended them, there wouldn't be too many people left hanging around. |

It was supposedly crossing from the US side. They are also looking for a second car, according to the latest reports. The car was going at a high rate of speed and rammed a fence. Both in the car dead and one border agent wounded. That is the latest. But they have confirmed a terrorist attack. |

As I have said, more terrorists arrive through the north than the south by far, according to terror list apprehension data. But today's event is not yet a clear determination. The southern border is a different kind of problem. Sheer numbers. We know that US citizens bring in most of the fentanyl through regular customs there. Very easy to hide it and the cartels know it will mostly get through, unlike risking the chaos of the rest of the border. Terrorists also seem to prefer a smoother entry from the north. But this is not to say that the southern border is not a major crisis. |

I saw the explosion on TV. Does NOT look like a bomb to me. Looked like an exploding car. I'd say NOT terrorism. I guess we will see. |

A bit premature in your evaluation, dontcha think……….? |

"Does NOT look like a bomb to me. Looked like an exploding car." Betting it was an EV. They don't look like bombs until they catch fire… ;-) |

Don't know. As I said, guess we will see. All news on radio reported it as terrorists. They were all absolutely positive. By afternoon they started changing their stories. Then I heard an eyewitness say the car was going at excessive speed, went airborne and then exploded when it hit the ground. When I saw the video at 4:30, the explosion just looked like a car that exploded, without the normal look of exploding ordinance with peripheral damage. I've been hearing lately, no explosives. Give it 24 hours. |

The media wanted a bigger story, I bet…. |
Legion 4 | 22 Nov 2023 5:10 p.m. PST |
Bottom line as we know … the first report is always wrong. So it looks like … well not a terrorist attack. But it does look like an EV going nuclear. I await more intel about this "attack" … |

"A fiery crash occurring on a bridge connecting Canada and the United States on Wednesday was initially and erroneously reported as a terrorist attack. In actuality, the driver of the vehicle was a 56-year-old man who had traveled to Ottawa to attend a KISS concert. The man, whose identity has not yet been revealed, was driving with his wife in a Bentley. The driver and the passenger died in the crash, and a Customs and Border Protection officer suffered minor injuries." |

That damn open border letting Americans sneak into Canada (thru a port of entry no less) must be to blame. At least Benny Johnson said so (and he's never wrong). We live in a time when we are in a rush to break the news (often incorrectly) and in an even greater rush to point the finger in blame at someone else. Fun times. |
Stryderg | 23 Nov 2023 8:33 a.m. PST |
Dude, that's been happening since the 80's, at least. It's part of the reason I have trust issues, especially with news outlets, politicians, the social elites and Teletubbies. (You just KNOW they're up to something.) |

@Strydberg, indeed it's not a new phenomenon however with the introduction of social media and 24/7 news, anything from terror attacks to border patrol agents "whipping" migrants are reported (and accepted ) as fact before the truth has had an opportunity to come through light. |

Current theory seems to be that the $300,000 USD Bentley had some sort of technical problem that caused it to accelerate so much that when it hit something, it jumped over 10 feet in the air. The video I've seen is bizarre, but only shows the car approaching and going airborne. car goes airborne at about 28 second mark: link recent reporting: link |

Current theory seems to be that the $300,000.00 USD USD Bentley had some sort of technical problem that caused it to accelerate so much that when it hit something, it jumped over 10 feet in the air. Nothing new there. Audi, Ford, Toyota, Jeep and Honda have all had similar problems in the past. Obviously more rigorous testing is needed before they are allowed to sell their cars. |
