In addition to my 15mm Romans/Barbarians I bought 2mm armies to play all other possible Ancient battles. Bright colours, clear labels, dice cells, I can play Marathon, Gaugamela and Cannae with every 40mm DBx-inspired rulesystem possible. Here's my tutorial:

Nicely done--both a good idea for 2mm forces and a good exposition of your technique. Most of my 2mm forces are on smaller bases, since the idea has been "travel armies" where both transport and playing space may be at a premium. But I'm very tempted to do some WWII stuff along your lines.
