"Series You Watch While Painting?" Topic

What TV or cable series do you watch/listen to while painting up your armies?

YouTube videos or podcasts, hard to watch and paint, but history videos you can follow along looking up when needed.

Nothing, most of the time. Sometimes I'll put something on for background noise. Whatever looks interesting at the time.

Nothing, far too distracting. Do sometimes have music on in the background but not often. I like quiet.

Mostly whatever my wife happens to be watching.

Whatever DVD set goes well with the current project.

I listen to music while painting.

Skyrim series on YouTube. There are several variations that provide beautiful scenery and virtual tours of Skyrim, and enjoyable even though some themes loop.

I mostly just listen to it in the background. Using surround sound enhances the experience while painting. The bonus is I get terrain and painting inspiration from the Skyrim series.

It's varied over the years. Mostly Audible and YouTube nowadays.

I listen to MSNBC.

Music or listen to whatever my wife is watching.

Nothing. I do not watch the TV or movies while painting. I might listen to music, but usually quiet peaceful time while I paint

I don't watch TV while painting. I listen to music or just enjoy silence.

I watch historical documentaries I have dvr'd. Mostly just listen and then complain in my mind how they got it wrong.

Audio books streaming on line.
On line news and documentary videos.
The Avengers, The New Avengers, and other random spy, police, military, historic, sci fi movies that interest me in the moment.

Shows that I can follow just by listening most of the time. House, Criminal Minds, Law and Order SVU. Or shows and movies ive watched so often I don't need to see. Stargate franchise. John Wayne movies.

Mostly, I listen to music, but during the appropriate season I'll listen to baseball.

Either football or Joe Rogan podcasts.

I normally will listen to Classical music while painting.

I sometimes listen to music while painting, but rarely watch TV. The only exception was the second season of Good Omens.

I had it on, but as it wasn't very good, it just meant I could tick it off as watched, while just paying attention to the rare funny bits.
