Endò Takaaki's campaign diary (Affiliation: Infantry, 65th Regiment, 8th Company/3rd Supplementary Troop Rank: Lieutenant Place of origin: not given at the request of the mourner Profession: employee October 12 As expected, I have to leave right now and I went to the company at 08:00 to do the rest of the work and send a request to Mitani, (A) an employee of the company. Starting at 11:00 a.m., I went to the Nakano police station to renew my weapons and ammunition permit, then to the Nakano city hall to obtain proof of the preliminary court order for my temporary residence. Starting at 2:00 p.m., I went to say goodbye to Hirano, Shitayama, and Nishi, and bought a pistol and 100 rounds of ammunition at the Uchiyama gun shop. At 5:00 p.m. I went back to the company and after the farewells there I attended a farewell party for the association (B) in Kisei-ya from 6:00 p.m. When I got home at 8:00 p.m., the Nagashima family and Aunt Hirano came to see me, as well as Endò Yoshibý, Mitsuda, Isome and Ozeki.
