Who today makes the best 15mm flags (bright, clear, accurate with saturated colors) suitable for trad miniatures from vendors like Battle Honors, Old Glory, Essex miniatures, etc?

No flagpoles, no print your own – (I don't have a printer worth a damn.)

Still GMB or are there others?

I agree that The Flag Dude is the way to go. I get all my flags from him.

Maverick Models are very nice, you can order individual flags instead of sheets.

Flag Dude. If you can't get them from him, go with GMB.

Most of mine are Signifier but any new units I do will probably be GMB. I would be very cautious with the Flag Dude I have found him unreliable at best. Better to buy from him at a convention.

I don't understand how anyone can buy flags from the Flag Dude. He has no photos of his flags. It's all just long lists. Which may be fine if you already know you want to build the 7th Georgia … but I want to see the flags, and maybe pick one that is a bit unusual and go that route. And I cannot do so.

So he is a hard pass for me.

At least GMB has lots of their flags available for a peek.

I tried reaching out to flagdude and haven't heard anything for about a week. I did have some of his flags some time ago and they were fantastic but it seems contact can be spotty.

I have some GMB flags and cannot recommend them enough, and I think i will continue forward with those.

If you have a good color laser printer, or access to a good color laser printer, might be worth it and better to print your own. The trick is to use a good color laser printer.

You don't need a high quality laser printer. Enough other people have them that once you have the files in the correct format and have the right paper you can probably find someone to print them for you.

You must know someone with a printer?

Good luck
