We played the Battle of the Java Sea today for our Retirees Game using Nimitz naval rules. Turned into a real knife fight at close range. link |

So many rules for naval wargames are geared towards squadrons of capital ships. Did using Nimitz work out well for forces made up of destroyers and cruisers? Grelber |

I have played Nimitz several times in actions around Guadalcanal. It seemed to work fine using DD's and Cruisers. Thanks John |
