We played the Battle of the Java Sea today for our Retirees Game using Nimitz naval rules. Turned into a real knife fight at close range.

So many rules for naval wargames are geared towards squadrons of capital ships. Did using Nimitz work out well for forces made up of destroyers and cruisers?

I have played Nimitz several times in actions around Guadalcanal. It seemed to work fine using DD's and Cruisers.

Thanks

John

Fitz,
Looks great. So I take it you like the rules?

Joe
