Hagar Meets Harrold at Stamford Bridge
For our Wednesday Knight game.
The conversation went something like this. "What do you want to play next week"? Silence. We could play L' Art de la Guerre. I haven't played my Vikings in years. (Covid restrictions being what it was) OK, I'll whip up an army Saxons then. We can do Stamford Bridge.
So it's Anglo-Danish (not Saxons) vs Danish Vikings in this Pseudo Stamford Bridge scenario.

I introduced my weekly war game group to Ancients many years ago, but mostly my armies pitted against each other. Bruce bought the Vikings off of ebay a while ago Suddenly there is a splurge, Garth came to me for basing advice for his newly acquired Normans, and Bruce with a 300 point Carthaginians. |
