Warlord go for a 40/40 ratio. You would expect them to have done some research. Maybe not! |

For the Army of the Solemn League and Covenant (Marston Moor Scots) it was 3 muskets to every 2 pike, or 1.5 to 1. Based on what they bought for the invasion of England anyway. |

The Covenanters dropped off the garrison for Morpeth Castle early 1644, on their way down to Newcastle and Sunderland and the battles in north Durham. The siege of the castle was May 1644. Primary source: 'Memoir of the Somervilles' |
