"After many different versions of series on his grandmother, legendary Catherine the Great, we are finally getting a series on ALEXANDER THE FIRST, the emperor of whole Russia and today I managed to dig out first images for you from this sprawling historical saga which director Artyom Nasybulin is as of this moment filming over in St. Petersburg. The show is set to premiere sometime next year on Russian streamer Smotrim with linear television premiere on national broadcaster Rossiya 1! The title role is played by Evgeny Romantsov, and he will be accompanied by Anna Banshchikova, Gleb Bochkov, Polina Gukhman, Philip Ershov, Anastasia Krylova, Fyodor Lavrov, Angelina Poplavskaya, Anna Snatkina, Daniil Spivakovsky, Artyom Tkachenko, Vladislav Tsenev, Anna Chipovskaya and Yuri Chursin."
