Sorry, posted on the 18th-century board accident.

That is spectacular. I have often gamed Froeschwiller/Worth, but your layout has inspired me to try Spicheren. Beautiful work!

The way the bases are matched to grassy areas of the playing surface makes them blend in so well it looks like there are no bases. Beautifully done.

Very nice.

That looks jolly good, must give it a go in 28mm,

Tally Ho!

This is a big battalion scenario, the game surface is 7'6" x 6'9" for 15mm. You might be able to do the attack on the heights. I think the attack on the heights would look great in 28mm. You might make the whole battle work at the brigade level.

Enjoyed your Spicheren Flickren, thanks, OC! A very good-looking game. Nice work on the historical essay at the top of the album as well.

As it happens, we had a go at Spicheren a couple of weeks ago too, and I've only just got round to doing the AAR. Similar but different (6mm figures on 6'x4'):

Nice looking game Chris. Interesting to see it as a brigade game.

It's nice to know that someone is reading the album description.

I know what you mean. When you put so much love into photo albums and game reports and thoughtful blog posts, it's nice to get a little love back.

Keep up the good work!
