So I have built two battalions of Perry plastics Brits for the Sudan. Now I have realised the plastics all have puttees. I have put the Sudan/Burma sun helmets on them as I intended them to be RMLI and KRRC. Now reading uniform guides it would seem they both had their trousers loose. Not sure it matters but the metals have the right uniform. So do I now paint these up as other regiments or just go with the puttees?

I'd go with puttees. Assuming the reconquest.

I believe the were only worn loose in the early period with the gray uniforms. The exception being the Guard Camel Corps with puttees.
