I see you are having trouble with the concept of "defensive fire". It simply makes it harder for an attacking unit to move to contact and impose a morale test on the defending unit. No need to calculate fire effect in these rules, everything is based on morale tests. |

Thanks, appreciate it (basically I was wondering if defensive fire initiated a morale test, like 'normal' fire does – but it doesn't). |
