At this time of year, do your hobby skills get repurposed into making winter or Christmas decorations, ornaments, dolls, dollhouses, etc.?

I have already broken Jesus' head (twice), laser-cut ornaments are a bit delicate!

I generally find ways to repurpose holiday/winter decorations for wargaming purposes

No. Or at least not often. Relatives have been known to request help with decorations, but as often for Halloween as Christmas.

For myself, the Christmas decorations are in a box. I'll put them up the weekend following Thanksgiving, and take them down about New Year's Day. The Present (Volume 1 of the Collected Jorkens) is on order, and will be wrapped and placed under the tree on arrival. The kids' presents will be shipped directly to them. Getting a little old to be surprised by an annual event.

I've lost the distinction between "wargaming as holiday decor" and "holiday decor as wargaming" …

I used to have to paint the pewter figures my wife bought to populate her Christmas village (probably about 20 mm). They stopped selling them some years ago, so I eventually got them all done. Nothing new has cropped up since.

I'm painting laser-cut wooden Christmas ornaments.

My wife collects some of my 15mm buildings for her Christmas shelf display.

Yes, as I'll have to repair anything that gets broken.
