The rules say that an individual figure who loses (not a casualty) will run from the melee. Assuming he does not become shaken at any point, how far from the site of the melee will he run? The rules don't specify. |

Just move him a couple of inches to the rear. When the Melee has been decided, he will either rejoin his victorious unit, or participate in their retreat. TVAG |

Thanks, guys, I wasn't too far off the mark, then. I was having the figs fall back about 4 inches. One thing I have done, though, is have the movement required by the runners or stragglers to rejoin their units deducted from the movement their units could make. Thanks again, Bob |

I've always done 6 inched away from the melee. |

I have always done just far enough away so you know not to count in next round of melee, no set distance. |
