Yet again. So yesterday I was down in my painting room, getting an idea of some scenic pieces I need to work on, and some figures to finish. Really folks, I am starting to believe that "working on figures is: 10% actually "working on them", (painting, flocking, sealing, basing, etc), 70% trying to figure out what you are doing, what you are working on, what you want to work on, etc.; and the other 10% is often times figure out projects, stuff, etc., and how on earth you are going to get it all "done", as it sits on your painting table. Often times these overlap. So there I was, minding my own business, looking at five separate pieces of scenery I need to finish, (four buildings, and a garden), and who should enter into my underground painting abode but my wonderful wife, (Gawd bless her!), who wanders up to me and stands there smiling. "Oh dear." I say to myself as my shoulders hunch. "She's onto me." Quickly I flip through the Rolodex that is my brain and try to figure out what I did, said, or didn't do or say, that would have her standing there with that smile. Finally coming up with a blank card, I said "Yes dearrrr?" She said to me. "I noticed something in here, so I am helping you fix it." Usually when it comes to women wanting to "fix" things, I have learned that it usually means, "Moving something, painting something, building something, or buying something", or in this case even possibly being, "I have a large trash can and we can put it to good use in this room…" I sighed and moaned weakly…"What dear?" She smiled and said "I noticed you have a lot more paints than storage so I went on Amazon and ordered you two more paint racks. Just like the ones you have already." I stopped for a moment. Each paint rack hold 55 bottles of my craft paints so that is another 110 bottles I can easily store. Great googly moogly! Needless to say I was a "grateful husband"… I am lucky and blessed. |

I've been trying to convince my wife to paint horses for about 40 years….still trying. She is pretty good to me, though, rarely says "NO!", except when it comes to buying model trees. I have way too many, don't you know. But to have wifey buy you something like yours did? That's golden! |

When my Mrs does something like that, I know there's a horrible chore coming down the pipe. |

Murph, we've spoken about this before, you teasing us like this and all. You are speaking of things angelic here, teasing us royally. I vote you marry this angel before anyone else discovers her. |
