For those completists out there, I recently came across a film entitled "1812 God" (got my copy from DVD Lady). It's a Russian made short silent film (with some English subtitles) made in 1912 about Napoleon's Invasion of Russia. Ends with a clip of an old woman said to be 115 years old who would have been alive at the time.

not a bad attempt for the time – i can see some influences from paintings by Kossak and Vereschagin in the scenes.
