Milliput has changed formula this year.
It is much less fudgy.
The roll which used to get the skin on it now has no skin.
It has little integrity when pushed about.
It is the same as ever once hardened.
I don't like it, but how are others feeling abut it.

60% old formula Milliput with about 40% greenstuff gives an ideal combo for conversions. Sorry to hear of the change.
Is Milliput now more like Greenstuff in consistency?

Hello Noel
It has gone in the opposite direction.
It has the consistency of toothpaste.

That sounds like a problem.

is it in the same box (wondering if old type or new version i am buying at store )?

The new one is a much darker colour. No skin forms on it either. Very squidgy.

I had a couple of batches of Milliput that were very odd ealier this year. Bought replacements ( after quering it with Milliput themselves) that were fine.
Might be your encountering this problem rather than a worrying change in formulation.

I will investigate. I have tied 7 boxes from2 sources.
I hope the old type still eexists.

Well bought milliput last week from a new batch, unlike the old variety its sticks are sealed in plastic heat sealed plastic rather than the old plastic bags tied with tape.
Happy to report that it seems to behave as per normal. Same texture density etc.
The only complication is that the new bags are not resealable so you'll need some bags to wrap it and reseal.
The hardner stick has the same 'skin' of old.

I just mix greenstuff then use the ball as a guide for a ball of part a and a ball of part b milliput.

Then mix the 3 equal balls together.

I also Hawk Tuah the skin between thumb and finger on my right hand, that holds the corked figure, for tool lubrication.

So many levels of wrong.

PS Procreate is also about the same as mixing greenstuff and milliput.
