28mm conversions from GW and Crocodile Games. The hippo head comes from a Ral Partha metal hippo.

I don't recognize the minis, so I can't comment on the conversions, but the paint jobs are awesome!

They look really good! I hadn't thought about it, but the fact that Ral Partha are smaller 25 mm figures and Crocodile Games has larger 28 (or 32) mm figures actually worked to your advantage, giving you a head that fit better on the big guy.

I have the Ral Partha hippo and painted him up several years ago. In the process, I learned about "pink oil," adding one more thing to the countless bits of pointless trivia cluttering up my brain. Also, thanks to a Wargods player at a convention, I understand that hippos kill more people than lions or other large predators in Africa, and that somebody wanted to import hippos into Louisiana to eat the plants clogging up the bayous and that the next step in that plan would have been to convince Americans to eat hippo meat.
