Wow. That is an impressive layout. What rules do you use? Wissemburg was virtually unwinnable for the French. Douay's division was badly mauled and Douay was killed. They would have been useful at full strength for Froeschwiller a couple days later. |

The French can't win the battle but they can win the game. The German victory conditions are tough. They have to capture the town, the Chateau, the train station and exit seven units off the field by turn 18. The Prussians do not arrive until turn nine. |

They Died for Glory has been my go to set for FPW since they came out in the Courier and I played them with a group from Tampa and later Miami Nice battlefield |
