"Put Women Warriors on hold?" Topic

I know this may be an unpopular statement, but I believe it is time to put Inch High Guy's "Women Warriors" on hold. Thinking about how many of these beautiful young women have been killed or captured just makes looking at their photos so very tasteless. Or perhaps Inch High Guy could simply stop including photos of any women whose countries are currently at war?

It does make TMP equivalent to the SUN newspaper of the 1980s.

Do a majority of TMP readers like this sort of thing? Who knows?

We didn't close it down for the Ukraine-Russia War. Why is it principled to kill it now?

Sure, it's a bit gauche but you can and should skip it then.

Tasteless whether anyone is at war or not, which is why I don't open them.

I would agree this can be done away with. TMP does not need to be a high school boys locker room. The same goes for the nudes/semi-nude link that seems to be mostly posted by just one person. And yes, ignoring it is an option. But, do we really needs these?

Flashman14, you are right, it should have been paused then as well, of course it is an ongoing war.

I'm not sure why anyone would be offended. The women are fully clothed in uniform and half of them aren't even wearing makeup. There's nothing salacious about the pictures.

I am unalterably opposed to women in combat and never open these photos.

As one who does look at them every week, and appreciate pretty faces, do wonder and comment often for them to be careful and good luck.
If up to me woman wouldn't be anywhere near a front line, the attack on Israel shows why IMO. But women in the world's military are here to stay, nothing anyone can do about that.
Many to me seem promotion photos, a lot look like selfies, but all are done well and see no reason they should be stopped.

I swore off these when Russia invaded. They sort of drifted over from being glammy to creepy.

Just don't open it if it bothers you, it isn't that tough.

If you don't want to look at the pictures, don't look at them.

+2 to Archon64! Don't impose your values upon me! You can freely express your distain for them but to even suggest Bill not allow them is just another political infringement upon MY right to decide if I want to see them or not.

Pictures of deceased presidents, music or sports legends carry as much sentiment as seeing these fully clothed women who decided to make a stand for what they believe in.

Let each one decide if they want to click on them. Don't even imply you would deny us that right.
