Well, the 12th was my birthday, so I took a few days off to celebrate! (Thanks to the staff editors for filling in for me.)
I had the wild idea that I would take one of my latest purchases and turn it into a one-day painting project. Well, that didn't happen! (Family and friends can't be ignored…) But I did get them assembled and made the first priming pass.
We're caught up here on membership payments and Hobby News submissions (four being worked on for tomorrow), but I'm still catching up on email and PMs.
I'm glad to report that Editor Katie is participating in her first beauty pageant since she had shingles. It was tough for her to get her confidence back. The pageant must be in some remote place, as she had to take a boat to get there, and internet service is very limited!
I'm hopefully finalizing that box for Fernando this week. Just collecting painting instructions from advertisers, and prepping some last-minute additions of my own.
Oh, what did I get for my birthday? Let's just say that my stack of unpainted minis has grown significantly. Got to get them painted!
