Hi everyone!
Scenery elements are as important as figures to run a nice game and take cool pictures, so today we focus on Dark Age houses painted for a short story: Pigs at Risk!!

You can read the whole story here:

Hope you like it :)

It's always good to see a good pig up game in progress.

Mercenaries? They were more likely knights of the local noble doing what knights did, robbing and terrorizing the peasants.

Next episode: The knights return with 10 men-at-arms and an arrest warrant from the local noble. The farmers will be charged with heresy, insurrection, and fomenting a rebellion, and will be burned at the stake. The noble will give the farm to a deserving relative.

Meanwhile, pork, dog, and cow barbeque at the castle!

Thank you all for your comments.

@Oberlindes Sol LIC: These peasants are well aware of what Men-at-arms can do, so maybe in the next episode, They gather with other peasants, as many as possible, begin to revolt and burn the nearest castle to the ground. But before, they eat their own pigs so that they have no regret :D

And here I was expecting to see pigs dressed like this around a board game:

Looking forward to the peasant rebellion!

In graduate school, I once gave a short lecture on peasant rebellions Europe. The first thing I showed was just a list of rebellions by year and location from about 1300 to 1500. It was a ridiculously long list.
