Incompetent Imperial Chinese forces, supported by the 'Ever Victorious Army', somehow managed to defeat waves of fanatical Taiping Brethren. Ultimately, better firepower from the EVA decimated the ranks of assaulting brave Taiping rebels to deliver a reasonable victory. 'Chinese Gordon' was appalled to witness the wilful ignorance of the Qing Dynasty military in every single aspect of warfare.

Great looking battle! Taiping Rebellion should get more attention from wargamers. Thanks for sharing |

The Taiping Rebellion is excellent ground for wargaming. I've been doing it for years with 15mm figures. |

>Taiping Rebellion should get more attention from wargamers It should get overall more attention. Counting just casualites, its the second largest war in history and most people know nothing of it, starting by its existence. And that, of course, is true for wargaming, too. I now need more minis… Which ranges do cover the Chinese and EVA? |

Hi Puster, over there in Saxony! Most of the figures are Wargames Atlantic plastics. The rest consists of Wargames Foundry dedicated Chinese rage, along with the interesting Tiger Miniatures range. Best wishes. |
