Anybody played these rules for Pulp skirmishes by Chris Swann, and if so what are they like?

I also see the same author has made a set called "TALES OF MEN, MYTHS AND MONSTERS" which also looks interesting – anybody tried that either, and if so do te two rulesets use the same mechanics?

Thanks for yur thoughts…
