35th, not disagreeing about bias at the Beeb. But there is some irony to the Telegraph calling it out and Fox picking it up. And the word count data gives no context to confirm the number of times there was intentional bias, which I doubt reached the level reported, given the BBC does have some standards. And, as I said, Fox often gets this done to them, as in this fictional example.."Fox used the word ‘Republican" in a positive way 970 times this week compared to 0 at CNN." Not very useful, in other words. Let's see if the Beeb responds with details. It's a big game…. |

Tort, you can choose to believe the MSM is the best source for news. I totally disagree. I can show lies , unreported stories and misreported stories for your reading, until you are tired of reading them. As of now, there is only 1 MSM channel that bucks the reporting of the others, Fox. Without them, the web and now X, most things that contradict the others would not be available. We would have a German/Russian media. You know the MSM will not police itself. MSNBC was blaming Trump for the second attempt on his life yesterday. The "debate"? ABC commentators fact checked Trump in double digits… and were wrong most of the time. How often Kamala? …. Crickets 🦗 I can place at least 20 articles that show her lies that night, most in her own words in previous interviews. But ABC ignored them. So yes, I believe the BBC is just as biased as the rest. 😉 A couple more examples: Subject: Convention Study: PBS link Subject: 100%! ABC Airs TV's Most link |

link It's worse than that, 35th- this affidavit claims that ABC held separate negotiations on the terms of the debate with Harris' team, agreed specifically that they would fact check Trump, but not her, and provided her with "sample questions." They also researched likely Trump claims in advance, specifically so they could "fact check" him. |

35th – that is not what I am saying at all! |

Sorry if I misunderstood, but that was how it read to me. There is a lot of pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel reporting by the MSM. The MSM seems to accept the largest Palestinian casualties figures, with no questions asked. A lot of anti Netanyahu sound bites. A lot of calls for cease fires, holding Israel responsible for none. Not a lot of positive coverage of Israel. Not much negative about Palestinians supporting Hamas or joining Hamas. Again, I get the positive stuff on the web and Fox. Things I rarely see on the others. Also there seems to be some commentators in the MSM , who portray The pro Hamas protesters in the US, in a positive light. |

The media bash each other relentlessly. They are in a war for advertising dollars and our viewership. I think each story needs to be reviewed – viewer beware. To me Fox is an important part of the MSM. They take a lot of hits for partisanship, and they were willing to cough up nearly a billion in settlement money to stay out of court on their election reporting. But they also uncover news that would otherwise be missed. As does the BBC. |
