I painted 22 figures in September. Better yet, I didn't buy anything! For the year:
Painted: 229
Bought: 126
So, I am 103 ahead for the year. Thinking about things, I've had quite a few years when I paint more than I purchase, but it has been a matter of 18 more, or 27 more, or one year, it was one more painted than purchased. I really need years with 100+ more painted than purchased to have any hope of significantly deceasing ye olde lead mountain. That, and I need to get serious and sell off a bunch of stuff. <Sigh> Grelber |

This is a great idea!!! My soft goal for the year is to paint 1000 miniatures. To do this, I target 100 per month which leaves me a cushion of 200 figures to allow for vacations and unforeseen circumstances. I'm way off for this year, but I'm preparing for 2024 with a vengeance!!! |

For the month of Sept, it was kind of "eh", at Casa Del Murphy. I did however build two "crypts" to hold cards for my Fury of Dracula Boardgame…
And I bought some figures. Count for the month of September. Bought: 4 (Reaper Fantasy Figures)

Painted: 116 Net: +115 I'm working on 18th Century Figures and some Halloweeny stuff this week so lets see what I get done. |

Haven't posted since April since not much painting was going on – several rounds of illness, work, summer activities with the kids, etc… Finally finished 54mm Sherbourne's Additional Regiment for AWI (16 figures), predominantly Accurate plastics. These had been started way back in April. Brings my total for the year to -58. Now working on perhaps my most ambitious project yet – 28mm Victrix Highlanders for my Napoleonics set. This will be a 40-man unit, but also painting alternate figures as skirmishers. Hope to be done by end of year. |
