… A New Offensive When Ukraine's Current Counteroffensive Comes To An End " Russia does not intend to stop at the "occupation" of only four Ukrainian regions; Moscow plans to "occupy" five more regions of Ukraine, and this is the minimum. British intelligence reports this.
Russia will not stop there; if hostilities continue in 2024, Ukraine risks losing five more regions, unless it manages to stop the advance of the Russian army and push it back to the borders of at least 2022. According to the British, the Kremlin has already prepared a plan to seize and further integrate the southern and central regions of Ukraine into Russia. Those. Kyiv will be cut off from the sea, after which it will lose its value for the West…"

Let's assume they conscript a million-man army. What will it be equipped with? Are they planning a huge infantry army? Some armor units equipped with obsolete vehicles? Quantity does have a quality all its own but there comes a point where it is still ash and trash. |
Editor in Chief Bill | 01 Oct 2023 9:55 p.m. PST |
Where will the officers come from? The artillery? The logistics? |
| Striker | 01 Oct 2023 9:59 p.m. PST |
Wait! The mockery of Russian conscription and supply was never ending, but now they will march forth with legions like Sauron? All those intel folks must have missed this force of conquest and the stockpiles of stockpiles of arms; must have been in buildings marked "Just a plain warehouse". If only we had 007 to find out what is going on. |
Tortorella | 02 Oct 2023 4:47 a.m. PST |
The Russians can leak all the schemes they want. A million man army of fresh conscripts is a command and logistical nightmare for them based on their current level of performance. But they still excel in misinformation and propaganda. |

But…… hasn't this been what the Russians have always done in every war?? Loses don't seem to matter much to Russian leadership. (They or their sons and daughters aren't dying). Being equipped and supplied has not ever mattered much either. Plus they do have China, North Korea and Iran throwing supplies to them. Leadership only paid once, 1917. So chances are they can get away with it. Equipped or not, remember the scene in "Enemy at the Gates" at Stalingrad Subject: Enemy at the Gates Soviet Charge Scene (High Quality) – YouTube YouTube link |

Sounds like a propaganda piece. Be afraid! Russia will overwhelm you! Give up now! Yeah right. |

Ironically, despite all the obvious issues it would raise, if real (it ain't) it would demonstrate that the Russian leadership at least partly understand the magnitude of the military problem they find themselves saddled with! Fortunately for Ukraine they continue to hobble themselves by insisting living in their weird parallel universe propaganda bubble where everything simultaneously is going to plan and Russian culture is about to be wiped from the face of the Earth… |

Well the million man army did shock the west in Korea. Except it was Chinese and even then they were beaten back! I could see it. Enemy at the gates with one in 5 having a gun. Only this time there are few or no buildings to hide in. |

This is all just bot/troll/kremlin shill clickbait. The basic premise is as laughable as the rest of this class of muscovite garbage. |
Legion 4 | 02 Oct 2023 5:55 p.m. PST |
I think this is more propaganda from Putin, etc. Yes, where will all these troops come from ? And do you have the equipment for them ? |
| Striker | 02 Oct 2023 9:17 p.m. PST |
JMcCarroll – Just think if a million PRC troops came flooding into Ukraine Jan 1? That would make things interesting. |

Even In WWII The russians "won" my foot. They needed weteren truck, Literrally thousands aof weterntanks and even 1000000 Blankets and now hear The Canadians sent them uniforms in he though the Millions. So the Spewtin Govenment is So much more orgaised, he is going to do far better with no usefull Allies willing to give hime stuff. His industry is already short of decent workers but he is going to conscript what is left. So where are the Tank Factories, The Blanket makeers the ssmal arms manufactures to make for 1000 men. If he is so good how come the first consripts had useless guns etc and then he only conscripted 1/3 of what he propode and more fled than he managed to conscript. Just another mad implusable seme. I am more concerned about Ukraine's mobilization potential. |
| Jcfrog | 06 Oct 2023 6:44 a.m. PST |
From what? volunteers? conscripts? with what officers, NCOs? equipment? If really it is British Intelligence (not some bull intox) then the only one who should worry are the Brits. They could have (somehow what they say at times) a 100000+ being readied somewhere. In a war where it is nearly impossible to hide masses (à la 1943), hardly surprises will be happening, or just tiny locales. |
| StillSenneffe | 06 Oct 2023 7:05 a.m. PST |
I don't think anyone with a gramme/ounce of sense believes this fairy story has anything to do with the UK Govt- just cheap russian troll spam. Re Ukrainian and russian mobilisation potential- watch these for measured analysis from an authority who is undoubtedly sympathetic to Ukraine, but competent and even-handed in his techniques. Legion 4 | 06 Oct 2023 7:12 a.m. PST |
Again, I believe the Russians will have a hard time getting that million-man army anytime soon … if ever. Plus as noted: where are the trained & experienced NCOs & Officers ? Frankly from what we have seen their NCO Corps is sorely lacking as well as their officers.
Or where will they get all the weapons for these million men ? Etc., etc., etc. |

Re Ukrainian and russian mobilisation potential- watch these for measured analysis from an authority who is undoubtedly sympathetic to Ukraine, but competent and even-handed in his techniques.YouTube link YouTube link Nielsen's latest video makes for interesting viewing – sounds like Putin's domestic political expediency could turn into his undoing. Its perhaps becoming yet another irony of this war that Putin's apparent attempt to grind it out geopolitically may actually fail in the face of Ukraine being willing to grind it out militarily… |

The website "The intel drop" that this story comes from has many articles on the its main page. Many of the articles are pro Putin/Russia. Interestingly there are no links to any MI6 press release or any other corroborating information. It talks about sources, without any information on who those sources are. I suspect that this article is more propaganda than fact. If that assumption is correct, it is interesting that the Russian position is that the Ukrainians should accept peace now or else the situation will be worse for them. I suspect that the Russians may be concerned about loosing more ground. |
| StillSenneffe | 06 Oct 2023 8:28 a.m. PST |
Yes ROU, I think that's a good way to put it. Nielsen is a very good source of analysis on the war. He definitely supports Ukraine but is not a cheer leader and isn't afraid to criticise it and discuss its weaknesses. |

How funny it is to read this old page now))) Now, when all of Europe is expecting a Russian attack and is intensively preparing for it. What a funny schizophrenia))) I came across a list of Russian volunteer units (clearly not complete) that were at the front a year ago. Emblems, year of creation, approximate numbers at the time of publication, famous figures… link |
| Tango01 | 16 Feb 2026 1:23 p.m. PST |
What's really funny is that Russia lost more than a million men… and also that what was detailed in the original thread was accurate… It's not schizophrenia… until the Russians decided to invade an independent country to steal its territory, population, and resources, nobody in Europe spent a penny on defense… now it sounds perfectly logical to expect anything from bloodthirsty killer animals…
