Hers the Dismounted French Dragoons for Egypt. Napoleon took 5 regiments to Egypt but many horses died enroute and few were available once there so many Dragoons were forced to fight as infantry. I used Ab miniatures for them although Fighting 15 make them I chose the AB because of easier fitting to the stand size I use.

Viking Forge makes dismounted dragoons in gaiters. Usually used in 1806. Some of the very best figures around. |

Currently I have 10 ligne Demi Brigades 4 Legre Demi Brigades dismounted dragoons, Copt legion, Greek legion, Legion Nautique,Foot Guides, Omars light infantry,2 Dragoon regiments mounted ,1 chasseur regiment,1 hussar regiment,2 regiments Legion cavalry and Mounted guides and Mamelukes of the Republic. 4 batteries of 4 and 8 lbr guns,12 battalion gun sections, Heavy Siege battery 2 Engineer/Sapper companies, camel hospital and I am working on the Balloon section. 5 Division Generals, Napoleon and staff and Kebler and staff. Pretty much all done except balloon which I'll finish in a week. In all the entire Army of the Orient. Then ITs Mamelukes, Persians, Turks Russians and British, |

Splendid! If you could post pictures of all these units, even a group shot, that would be great. The balloon section for me would have to be a must see. Thanks for sharing this project. |

I will post the Army once I get the Balloon unit up. I am finishing some screens then the balloon is last…then its mamelukes many mamelukes…………. |
