This was the first time that the Taiping Rebellion has made an appearance at the club. This horrendous conflict, that resulted in between 20-30 million deaths, is largely ignored by wargamers, despite the fact that it offers a number of interesting troop types, weapon combinations, larger-than-life characters and scenario possibilities.

Chinese Gordon will be very proud! If you ever get the chance to post some photos of your 15mm scale take on the period, OSC74, please do so – sounds like a fantastic collection. |

On my bucket list of wargames projects I'd like to do. I've been interested in the period every since I read God's Chinese Son: The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom of Hong Xiuquan. |

In doing my own research, late Qing dynasty China has to be the most interesting army to collect for colonial wargaming and it gets more and more interesting the closer to the present you get. Are those all Foundry miniatures? |

Mostly Atlantic Wargames plastics, topped up with Foundry and Tiger Miniatures. |
