I was looking for help on which speed paint will give the closest result to Khaki or, infact, Olive green or German field-grey. Has anyone written this up?
The paints worked really well with some ancients I painted recently, but I can't work these ww2 uniform colours out.

I've been using Contrast Skeleton Horde for khaki and I think Contrast Militarum Green will work for olive green, but I'm working in 6mm. Scale (and fade) make a difference, and there seem to be three or four different khakis in WWII.

Thank you Robert!

Contrast Aggaros Dunes gives a khaki also.

I rely on this from the Tale of Painters website link . They have identical pieces for all the speed paints out there from Contrast to Vallejo's and more.

For Khaki I would look at Ochre Clay, Desolate Brown or Brownish Decay. I've used all three and those in particular work really well.
