Anyone use these for wargaming? I was curious about their extra parts and potential fragility through handling. Also, how to they scale next to Newline Design miniatures?

They don't match with Newline.

Massimo (the designer/owner) makes his ranges for the collector and diorama maker. While you can use for wargaming, the tiny detail pieces will probably not survive the fat fingers of most gamers.

In Europe, diorama making enjoys a much larger following than in North America. The high quality of workmanship is far beyond what I have seen here at home. To see what I mean, I have attached a link to last year's Dioramica II. Wolfgang Meyer is the POC that helped put it all together from all over the world.

I use them to supplement my mostly plastic 1/72 collections of Franco Prussian and Franco Austrian wars. So far they have held up over several games. I glue 2 to 4 figures on sturdy wooden bases and ask the players to pick them up using the bases, not the figures.
