Here's a recent game, set in Belarus, 1944.

Sorry , the pictures are a bit blurry. . .

May be blurry in some instances but great to see the vehicles and stands get an outing. Love your work…

Love your scenery! A nice mixture of buildings by themselves and buildings with yards. One of my favorites is where it looks like somebody built an artillery emplacement in Farmer Alexei's turnip patch! Kinda sucks to Farmer Alexei this year, but maybe after the war he can use it to load and unload trucks (lorries). All very, very impressive!

Well done on the labels for troops, too!

Absolutely wonderful table. I really like the vignettes: hanging man, signs etc.

How do you mark the edge of the woods? I dont see something.

Ryan Rabies25 Sep 2023 1:35 p.m. PST

Thanks, guys! We consider any clump of trees woods. We just trace the border at the edge of the trees as if they were the dots on a dotted line. I've been considering ways to represent woods and make them look denser with a proper looking forest floor and still leave room for infantry stands. It hasn't come to me yet, but something clever will come at some point. I also want something compact and modular so all my game stuff fits in a closet. I'm thinking of something using felt, perhaps.

Looks fantastic!
Always a compromise between "nice looking table", clear terrain definitions and a practical wargame table.
Ultimately, you are the host and I hope your opponents appreciate the work you have put into your game.

Wonderful looking figures and terrain. Thanks.
