The Recollections of Rifleman Harris, from which this dramatisation is extracted, is an excellent memoir that has been reprinted many times and is well worth reading in its entirety.
I recommend the edition entitled A Dorset Rifleman: The Recollections of Benjamin Harris, edited by Eileen Hathaway, Paperback 1996
